General English 20 Lessons

This group course consists of 20 lessons per week. You will cover grammar, vocabulary, free speech and pronunciation, use of English, writing skills, listening and reading comprehension. This course is ideal to achieve quick learning success and at the same time make use of the great leisure and cultural facilities that Great Yarmouth has to offer.

Intensive English 30 Lessons

This course consists of 30 group lessons per week. It builds on the standard course and deepens your understanding of the language. You will cover grammar, vocabulary, free speech and pronunciation, use of English, writing skills, listening and reading comprehension.

Star Plus Courses 

The Star Plus Course is a combination of group and private lessons. Frisby’s School of English offer a 20 (group lessons) + 5 (private lessons) as well as a 20 + 10 course. The Star Plus Course combination is very popular with clients who wish to enhance their language skills in a particular subject area whilst refreshing their general English skills.

Private Lessons

This course consists of 15, 20 or 30 private English lessons per week. The course is especially designed for clients who wish to have a course tailored to their individual needs and improve their English language skills in a very intensive manner. This course has benefited business clients from around the world and those seeking quick results.

General Business Course 30 Lessons

This course consists of 20 standard lessons per week and 10 business lessons. It builds on the standard course and specialises in Business English. The aim of the course is to learn business English in a short period of time or to improve existing knowledge intensively through theoretical as well as practical lessons. Clients will be able to study oral as well as written business English and practise their presentation skills.

Corporate Elite Business Course 60 Lessons

This course consists of 60 lessons per week and is designed as a Corporate Business English course. It is an extra intensive course which will enhance participants' knowledge of business English as well as act as a corporate team building course. The content of the lessons will be agreed with our business tutors in advance. Lessons take place from 9:00 until 21:00 Monday to Friday with buffet lunches and evening dinners. The course also includes weekend excursions to London, Cambridge and Norwich.  This course can be booked for a minimum group size of 6 clients. To complement this course and to further participants’ team building skills, Career Coaching and Management Training can be arranged for this course.

Today’s job markets require an increasing knowledge of IT which is why we have designed a language course that includes IT training provided by tutors who are trained and qualified in IT. Clients are able to take the European Computer Driving Licence ECDL.

IELTS, TOEFL and Cambridge Certificate Courses

At Frisby's School of English, we have wide experience in preparing students for various examinations. Please remember when booking your course that all examinations have registration deadlines. It is wise to book your course at the same time as booking your examination - or alternatively we are happy to book your examination for you. We also prepare students for other examinations such as Abitur, Baccalaureat, Matura, ESOL and other teaching awards.

Our examination courses consist of 30 lessons per week group tuition. You will cover all necessary elements to pass your examination, such as oral practice, listening, writing, use of English and grammar.

Frisby's School of English is a popular teacher training centre for INTESOL courses. INTESOL offers you the opportunity to qualify as an English teacher. You will be able to take this course while taking your language course at Frisby's School of English.
